Broadland Chess Club Spring Swiss Tournament

Broadland Chess Club will hold their annual Swiss tournament over four weeks on a Tuesday evening at the Tithe Barn in Horstead. This year the competition will be restricted to players with an April 2024 standard ECF rating of under1750 and open for external entrants.

Entry fee for Broadland Chess Club members is free.

Entry fee for non Broadland Chess Club members is £5 which must be paid before entry is accepted. (Payment details contained within entry form)

A small prize fund will be on offer;

1st - £20

2nd - £10

3rd - £5

Entries will be limited to 24 players and will be strictly accepted in order of receipt. - Closing date for entries 14th April 2024.

Time rate, all moves in 85 minutes with a 10 second increment per move from move one.

Each player will be entitled to take one half point bye for any one round between round one and three inclusive.

Games between rated/registered players will be submitted for rating.
